Pumpkin in the dough transforms the already tender dough to a virtual pillow of fluffiness with a gorgeous orange hue. Pumpkin spice filling and a maple cream cheese icing make this the perfect fall treat!
We use no commercial yeast - our dough is 100% naturally leavened with wild yeast. We patiently let our brioche type dough proof and rise over 24 hours to give it the time (and love) to puff up and become soft and light. This yields a tender and delicate crumb in the spice bun.
Bun Ingredients: Organic local grown wheat flour, organic brown sugar, grass-fed butter, local eggs, pumpkin, whole milk, superfine sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, ginger, allspice, cloves
