This bread is 50% whole grain flour and 50% artisan wheat flour. The addition of the whole grain flours (spelt, wheat and rye) makes for an incredible tasting bread.
We use no commercial yeast and our dough is 100% naturally leavened with a long fermentation period. This yields a delicious bread that’s more nutritious and also highly digestible.
When bread is completely cooled, we recommend slicing and freezing. This is the best way to preserve the freshness if it won’t be consumed within a day. Take out as many slices as you want and pop into the toaster for a fresh baked experience.
