This is a large pan shaped bread (9 X 4 X 4) with each loaf weighing about 1 kg or 2 lbs.
Made with locally grown organic whole grain spelt flour. Spelt is an ancient grain high in protein and more nutritious than wheat. A small addition of maple syrup makes this a very slightly sweeter bread. Shaped and baked in a pan, it is easy to slice and perfect for toast or sandwiches.
When bread is completely cooled, we recommend slicing and freezing. This is the best way to preserve the freshness if it won’t be consumed within a day. Take out as many slices as you want and pop into the toaster for a fresh baked experience.
