This is a wholesome loaf made with more organic whole grain wheat flour (50%) than our Artisan loaf. The higher whole grain content combined with the natural tanginess achieved from a long fermentation give this bread a deeper flavor. You'll get a more nutrition rich bread without losing all the characteristics of a delicious sourdough bread.
We use no commercial yeast and our dough is 100% naturally leavened with a long fermentation period. This yields a delicious bread that’s more nutritious and also highly digestible.
When bread is completely cooled, we recommend slicing and freezing. This is the best way to preserve the freshness if it won’t be consumed within a day. Take out as many slices as you want and pop into the toaster for a fresh baked experience.
